This is a mint condition, unplayed, promotional copy of the vinyl first Australian pressing of AC/DC’s Back In Black album released in 1980, catalogue number APLP.046


This version has the EMI Sample Record Not For Sale sticker on the back cover. It is the Australian pressing with the classic Albert Productions label in red with yellow strobe marks.


This promo copy includes the fold out inner sleeve with band photographs and credits.


This album has been in my collection since 1980 and has never been played. The LP was only removed from the sleeve for the first time to be photographed, so the label has no spindle marks and the vinyl is pristine.


The album has been stored in a climate controlled room for 40 years, so has a very feint ring mark on the back cover due to compression from the albums 'TNT' and 'High Voltage' which were stored either side.


If you check out the photos you’ll see there is a compression slice on the top of the cover - and a small fray on the top left corner, plus some edge creases common on sleeves printed for EMI from this era, but the inner sleeve, vinyl and labels are all mint.
