Condizioni : copertina laminata su entrambi i lati che presenta qualche modesta grinza; grande stato, EX+ / il vinile che è stato suonato diverse volte ha alcuni segni generalmente superficiali con qualche leggero clicchettio come conseguenza. Nel secondo lato alcuni segni più profondi condizionano l'ascolto delle due ultime tracce con una serie di moderati tics. Lato A da classificare come ex, lato B come VG+ a causa delle due ultime tracce portano ad una gradazione complessiva VG++ 

Conditions : laminated cover on both sides shows some slight creases, EX+ / vinyl played several times has some surface marks affecting play with moderate clicks noise. Furthermore the second side has some heavier marks which affect the listening of the last two tracks with a series of moderate tics. Side A to be classified as ex, B-side as VG+ because of the two last tracks for an overall grading VG++

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

La canzone " Tell The World We'Re Not In ", interpretata da The Peddlers, è stata composta da Denis King e Don Black mentre " Goodbye Gemini " cantata dalla cantante Irlandese Jackie Lee ha come autori Rick Jones e J. Alexander Ryan. Album pubblicato soltanto in Gran Bretagna e in Australia. Interessanti composizioni che con una certa approssimazione possono essere divise in due sezioni : temi di commento musicale legati a specifiche scene del film generalmente eseguite dall'orchestra e tracce che in parte scavalcano la connessione tra musica e immagine. Appartengono a questa seconda categoria brani generalmente ritmati e talvolta impreziositi dalle piacevoli sensazioni del brillante funk britannico della fine degli anni sessanta. Tra questi includerei le canzoni dell'album e in particolare " Tell The World We'Re Not In " interpretata dai Peddlers dove la veloce ritmica di basso, organo con effetto wah-wah e batteria seguono efficamente il bel timbro vocale del cantante Roy Phillips. Una buona sezione fiati insieme a organo, basso e batteria accompagna magnificamente Peter Lee Stirling, più tardi ben noto con il suo vero nome Daniel Boone, nelle canzoni " Nothing's Good anf Nothing's Free " e " Forget about the Day ", quest'ultima con un andamento più moderato di gusto soul. E per finire con le canzoni ricordo volentieri la bella interpretazione di Jackie Lee in " Goodbye Gemini " ottimamente accompagnata dalla chitarra elettrica e dall'orchestra. Impossibile poi non citare " Houseboat Party No. 3 " esplosivo brano strumentale funk con eccitanti sonorità dei fiati e della chitarra ben supportati da basso e batteria. Tra i temi più vincolati alle scene del film vorrei ricordare " Ritual Murder " brano ossessivo e cupo che inizia lentamente con organo, basso pulsante e orchestra per poi aumentare d'intensità grazie anche all'intervento di vocalizzi femminili e tormentate sonorità elettroniche.

The song " Tell The World We're Not In ", performed by The Peddlers, was composed by Denis King and Don Black while " Goodbye Gemini " sung by the Irish singer Jackie Lee was written by Rick Jones and J. Alexander Ryan. Album exclusively released in Great Britain and Australia. Interesting compositions which with a little approximation can be divided into two sections: themes strictly influenced by specific scenes of the film usually performed by the orchestra and tracks which partially bypass the connection between music and image. Belong to the latter category some tracks from the lively pace sometimes gilded by that British easy-funk feel of the late sixties. Among them I would include the songs on the album and above all " Tell The World We're Not In " sung by The Peddlers wherein the fast rhythm of bass, organ with wah-wah effect and drums efficaciously follow the beautiful vocal tone of the singer Roy Phillips. A good wind section along with organ, bass and drums accompany magnificently Peter Lee Stirling, later well known under his real name Daniel Boone, in the songs " Nothing's Good anf Nothing's Free " and " Forget about the Day ", the latter from the moderate development of soul taste. And to end with the songs I gladly recall the beautiful performance of Jackie Lee in " Goodbye Gemini " an excellent ballad perfectly accompanied by electric guitar and orchestra. Simply inevitable to mention " Houseboat Party No. 3 " featuring an explosive instrumental funk with exciting sonorities by wind instruments and guitar with the support of bass and drums. Among the more straiten by the movie scenes I recall " Ritual Murder " an obsessive and deep track from the slow start with organ, pulsating bass and orchestra later increasing intensely thanks to the presence of female vocalisms and distressing electronic sounds.
