Description
This is a fine original pressing copy of the landmark third LP by SF punk/psych/industrial group Chrome, released in 1979. The jacket has a 1” tear (it doesn't appear to be a full split) in the top seam, a 2” crease in one corner, light creasing in a second corner, and light corner wear (overall EX-). The disc is clean overall with a small ding in track 1 of side 1, a few hairline scrapes/scratches, and some light scuffing, and it plays with some crackling in a couple of places, but otherwise with minimal to light surface noise between tracks (EX). According to Discogs, the record originally came with between one and four inserts (Siren evidently didn't run a particularly tight ship). This copy has the main one, a small poster sized insert containing the lyrics to the songs and a funky negative image (M-). In the scans/pix I've seen online, the insert looks black and white -- the copy here is a sort of dull red (see picture) -- but I did read in one listing on the Popsike site that the seller's scan wasn't accurate, and that the insert's color was in the "sepia" family. So I'm presuming this one isn't an anomaly.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded all discs except where otherwise noted, and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
