Description

Chuck Berry sold a lot of records for Chess in the fifties but most of the albums didn't make it through the years in good shape. This one from 1958 is an exception! The black label Chess record is in excellent condition and the jacket is, also with some slight wear around the center where the middle of the record sticks up. The back cover is slightly dirty in the upper right hand corner but nobody wrote their name on it or ever used it for a coaster. The seam is split in the upper right front about halfway. With songs like Rock and Roll Music, Sweet Little Sixteen, and Reelin and Rockin' this great party album was a blueprint for many British invasion bands of the early sixties. This is Chuck Berrys second LP. What looks like a record scuff on the picture is actually a reflection of me taking the photo. Chess LP 1432 mono
