45 (7") - CHUCK BERRY - "NO MONEY DOWN / DOWN BOUND TRAIN" (LONDON 45-HLU 8275, British ORIGINAL ISSUE 1956)
ULTRA RARE British original issue on the LONDON TRI LABEL of ROCK'N'ROLL classic. Visually this is really clean and just a shade short of excellent on both sides, with some show of ageing and some very light paper scuffs (from taking in and out of the cover over the years), visually it's a straight vg++ with no marks or other blemishes. Sonically it is a still excellent player with some very minor noise here and there, nothing to worry about though !!! The main tune, if you know it, is an absolute classic and the b-side is just as good!!! This 45 sounds awesome and is miles better sounding than any LP compiled version you'll hear It has been really carefully looked after in the last (nearly) fifty years!!
A rare chance to own this British pressed R'n'R 45!!!! With a book price of £300.00 for this rare first issue, one has to wonder whether this really ever turns up for sale any more!!!!
