CHUCK "SNAKE" OWSTON - Mysterious Ladies & Midnight Queens (Nite Owl '77) STILL SEALED Spare copy of RARE, great and unique piece of Americana. Sort of like Tom Waits circa 1977 living in Pittsburgh doing raucus outlaw country rock, dark folk blues, plaintive folk/rock and something else that was all its own thing. Check the titles - "Vampire Eyes", "Outlaw on the Run", "Neon Nightmare", "Heroin Lady". Guitars both acoustic (classical and steel-bodied) and electric, electric piano, bass, drums, femme harmonies and the featured cello that really sets this apart. A vibe not quite like any other LP I've heard - I'm keeping my copy forever. Strict grading, cover/record. Perfect SEALED (Keep in mind this is a private press, I bought my copy sealed and it was a tad lo-fi, which actually for me added to its realness.
