Excellent second and final single from The Cigarettes released in 1980 on Dead Good Records. Formed in 1977 the band had built a strong local following and appealed to both Punk and Mod audiences. Well produced, both tracks are up-tempo Punk / Mod very similar to The Jam in their early days. It’s The Only Way To Live ( Die) sound very like News Of The World. These tracks have appeared on many Punk / Mod / Powerwpop - Killed By Death like compilations over the past few years. Here’s a chance to own a rare copy of the original single in excellent condition.
