Description
CIMARONS - On The Rock (Vulcan VULA501) - LP - 1976 Tracks: Wake Up Jah-Man-can (On The Rock), Hear Talk Of Inflation, Rooting For A Cause, Take Heed (He Who Hides), Jah No Dead, Rock Rock Reggae Rhapsody, Dim The Light, Free As Life, Paul Bogle, Fight To The End. Nicely presented original pressing of The Cimarons' classic On The Rock LP, released in 1976 on the Vulcan label. Recorded at Channel One, Black Ark and Chalk Farm and produced by Tommy Cowan. The vinyl retains a very good sheen with a few light surface marks, some fine, light hairlines and one more prominent but shallow spindle mark on the B-side - nothing serious - see descriptions below. A-side: There is a tiny amount of intermittent background surface noise with tiny and some very small pops and clicks plus just a few slightly more prominent ones. Grade - VG+/EX- improving to EX B-side: There is a tiny amount of intermittent background surface noise with tiny and some very small pops and clicks plus just a few slightly more prominent ones. The spindle mark highlighted above causes some clicks on tracks 3 and 4 that range from tiny to small. Grade - EX- down to VG++ Labels: Both labels are near pristine (see scan).
Cover: There is a little light wear to the edges, light bumping to the corners, some light creasing and a bit of light staining / general discolouration, mostly on the back cover (see scan).
