LUCIANI / FRANCO TAMPONI / JANKO NILOVIC / J. PISANO and F. ALTISSIMI. Original Italian pressing on the CINESOUND label (CNS / S 101) from circa 1972. Bewitching, psychedelic lounge and electronics EP. The first release of the Cinesound Club series. Obscure Library themes on an elusive 7inch format, taken from Canopo / Deneb / Flirt and Flower Library Lp sessions. Features the killer SAGITTARIO theme from Amedeo Tommasi's Zodiac Library on Canopo. Lots of super-crisp drums cum hip-hop beats / trippy piano loops / spinette / synth bassline and wah wah dub FX. LIGHT ILLUSIONS by Altissimi (from Light Illusions on Canopo) has that giallo thriller harpsichord sound with Alessandroni-esque whistles and guitars. Underwater electronics / mystical flute and sustained hammond throughout the experimental PAESAGGIO ARCAICO theme by A.R. Luciani from Panoramiche on Deneb. Our soundclip also includes the cosmic scat and beautiful rhythms of MOUVEMENTES ACQUATILIES by Janko Nilovic from his Rythmes Contemporains session / the Chet Baker cum Berto Pisano inspired lounge and beats of UN VOLTO UNA STORIA soundtrack theme by Franco Tamponi on Flower and the phased male scat / tape manipulation / floating scat harmony and Piero Montanari bassline of POW WOW from Conrado's Underground Mood on Flirt label. Eclectic mood music for an unknown Italian film soundtrack / television or radio programme. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG+ condition with some hairlines / scuffs from storage. Loud pressing. Surface noises. Soft pops / soft ticks in places (as you can hear on the soundclip) but mostly to "IL Cielo" and "She Came Lately" theme (these trax are not important so have not been recorded). Tiny section of deterioration to one side of label (see photo). Mini white pressing scratch to inner deadwax of the other side (see photo) causes a pop to fading outro of 'Paesaggio Arcaico' theme. The Cinesound soft card sleeve is in strong VG++ condition with very light wear. Ring creasing and a few faint dirt marks from storage. Minimal corner wear. Rare EP!!!
