During 2020's numerous lockdowns, Roc The Producer and Electro Wayne returned to the studio and put the finishing touches to their third release on People's Potential Unlimited -a belated debut album of revivalist synth-boogie and P-funk that's so authentic you'd be forgiven for thinking that it was recorded in 1982. What we get is an attractive mix of colourful P-funk synths, jaunty synth-bass, TR-808 percussion and a mixture of talbox, vocoder and sung vocals. While mostly club-ready, there are also a number of seductive slow jams, making it a well-rounded album that fits the standard format of classic boogie and '80s soul LPs.
