Description
"Rare" is a term that is probably misused way too much for selling. In the case of this album though rare would be a very correct description. Few of these Circus albums exist today.
This album is from my personal collection. The history of this particular copy may be of interest to a buyer. . .if not, skip to the last paragraph for the typical boring stuff.
Corky Siegel, of the fantastic Siegel-Schwall Blues Band, was the album's producer. At that time Corky (who, by the way, is one of the nicest people one could ever meet) took an interest in a charity event, a Dance Marathon to be exact, I helped organized. He gave me this Circus album, hooked me up with McMillan & Clary, the band's agency (also listed on the back cover), and was instrumental in having them re-arrange Circus' schedule to play for free at the event. You have to remember Circus was traveling nationally and opening for some big-name groups. Needless to say, Circus blew people away and rocked the house. Over 40 years later (yikes!) and the music Circus created and played is still outstanding.
I'm not a record collector nor am I a professional seller. To the best of my ability using the Goldmine standard I rate the album and cover VG+. Ask questions before you bid so you can be confident and happy about bidding. Fair enough?
