Extremely rare original pressing of Clara Haskil's legendary recording of eleven Scarlatti sonatas for piano. Haskil's sublime interpretations of Scarlatti sonatas are considered some of the best renditions of these Baroque solo piano pieces. CONDITION: Cover: VG+ to VG++. Excellent graphics with just a minor amount of laminate 'ghosting'. 3-inch seam split at bottom, minor 1-inch split at top near opening edge. No writing or major wear. Labels: VG+. Side 2 shows some light staining around an old sticker mark. Vinyl: VG+ to VG++. Vinyl shows a high amount of gloss for its age. Side 1 shows a few light sleeve marks only. Side 2 shows some smaller, deeper marks and one superficial scratch. Album plays with remarkable dynamic sound quality, with some sporadic pops and ticks. No skips or needle sticks when played on my system.
