ANOTHER RARE BLUES RECORD ON 78rpm BY CLARA SMITH, AND THIS COLLECTABLE WAS RECORDED ON June 1st 1927 (86 YEARS AGO) ON THE U.S. COLUMBIA LABEL # 14223 SONGS ARE: BLACK WOMAN'S BLUES & THAT'S WHY THE UNDERTAKERS ARE BUSY TODAY. THIS ONE SHOWS PLENTY OF GLOSS AND SHINE AND PLAYS WITH GREAT SOUND FOR ITS AGE. THERE IS A LITTLE BACKGROUND NOISE AS WOULD EXPECT FROM A 78 OF THIS AGE AND IT GRADES AS A VG+ TO A VG++ AT LEAST. These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This 78 is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B & Jazz 78's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
