Description

            CLARK  -  HUTCHINSON  " A = MH2 "  VERY RARE ALBUM

Released in 1969  on the  DECCA  NOVA  label  SDN - R2

Condition :  EXCELLENT / NEAR MINT

I bought this Album the week it was released from my local
record shop.  It was played on a high quality record deck
(Thorens 125 turntable SME arm with Shure V15 cartridge)
It was always cleaned with a high quality record cleaner and
stored in an anti-static inner sleeve and a plastic outer sleeve
                   to protect the cover.

                          SIDE 1.  Matrix no.  XZAL - 9021 - P-1W (run off) U  JT  1

track 1.  Improvisation on a Modal Scale.
                                   2.  Acapulco Gold.
                                   3.  Impromtu in E minor.

                         SIDE 2.  Matrix no.  XZAL - 9022 - P-1W (run off) U  JT  1

                         track 1.  Textures in 3/4.
                                  2.  Improvisation on an Indian Scale.

                                               THE  COVER

The COVER is in an EXCELLENT  condition.  The FRONT
COVER is in a HIGH GLOSS finish, it is VERY CLEAN , there
are no creases or any other signs of wear.  The LAMINATE
finish does not quite cover the Album front leaving almost 1cm
of matt finish along the sleeve opening ( a manufacturing error)
The BACK COVER is in a MATT finish with almost 2cms of
laminate overlapping from the spine edge.  It is VERY CLEAN
and free from any creases, but has a few marks on the top edge
one being where the price tag was originally.  The cardboard
of the back cover is slightly rippled towards the top.  The SPINE
looks like NEW with BEAUTIFUL SHARP pinched ends.  The
SLEEVE opening is STRAIGHT and free from any fraying. All
the CORNERS ARE firm and TRUE and free from any scuff
marks except in the bottom right hand corner there is one
light scuff mark. For a 40 year old Album cover it is in a very
               nice condition.

                                                THE  ALBUM

The ALBUM is in a NEAR MINT condition.  It is in a HIGH
GLOSS finish and is VERY CLEAN, free from any hairlines.
The LABEL is VERY CLEAN and CLEAR with only one
extremely light SPINDLE mark on each side (hardly noticeable)
Since new, this Album has only been played 3 or 4 times
including the TEST PLAY  on my REGA PLANAR 3 record
deck which is the first time it's been played in 38 years! The
Sound quality was very impressive, CLEAN sound throughout,
low surface noise and GREAT DETAILED audio.  However
on side 1. track 2. just one light click and side 2. track 2. just
a few light pops and crackles, other wise it's a great recording.
This NOVA label Album has become very collectable.

                                                 PEDRO'S  VINYL

I have been collecting Albums since 1964 and have amassed
a fantastic collection of rare LPs.  Recently I made the traumatic
decision to sell off my collection in order to finance other
ventures.  I have always been obsessive about playing my
Albums on the best possible audio equipment for that era.  My
Albums have always been stored in a specially made LP unit
to keep them free from dust and heat.  thank you for looking
and good luck with your bidding, PEDRO
