Description

This is surely one of the holy grails for the CLASH collector, the almost impossible to find Spanish pressing for the ‘Somebody got murdered’ single, which is aptly titled ‘Alguien fue asesinado’, released on Discos CBS in 1981 (CBS A-1310). The B-side is ‘Hitsville U.K.’. This very scarce 7” single came with a great and unique picture sleeve, exclusive to this Spanish pressing, featuring a great group shot of the band, the name of the band and the Spanish title in red (see scan). The back cover has a photo of the ‘Sandinista’ LP and the lyrics to ‘Somebody got murdered’ as well as all the record label information in Spanish, on the lower part of the sleeve (see scan). The label has the song title in Spanish and all the recording information, again in Spanish. As most of you know this is extremely rare and is one of those records that you just don’t see around – I haven’t seen another copy on Ebay… Don’t miss your chance of owning one of the best-looking Clash foreign sleeves! Both record and cover are in Excellent condition. Air-Mail postage is as follows: for European residents, LP’s are $8 each and 45’s are $5 each. For the States, Asia and everywhere else, LP’s are $10 each and 45’s $5 each. Payment must be received within 10 days after the end of the auction. You can pay by PayPal or by sending well concealed cash (U.S. dollars or Euros) inside a Registered letter.
