RCA RED SEAL LCS 93000, STEREO FOR THE JOY OF IT, 10 VG CLASSICAL RECORDS. This a magnificent and beautiful compilation of classical music pressed on the finest vinyl (That's what RCA Red Seal means) and featuring 10 of the world's finest composers: Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Rossini, Korsakoff, Copland, Brahms, Saint-Saens, Franck, Mussorgsky, Ravel, Prokofieff, and Stravinsky. More than that, this music is presented by some of the finest conductors and their orchestras that the modern world has ever known: Fiedler, Gould, Heifetz, Reiner, Monteux, Munch, Rubinstein, and Wallenstein. I have graded the records very conservatively, and you will likely find them to be in better condition than I say. There is a bit of extraneous noise on some of the records, but nothing that disturbs the enjoyment of the music; I dare say some of the records seem to have never been played before I put them on my turntable. Why am I casting off these gems? Downsizing, Baby, downsizing. It's all gotta go!
