Original 1965 first pressing in MONO of the great FERRY CROSS THE MERSEY album by Gerry & The Pacemakers and besides the timeless title track, contains the little known gem "It's Gonna Be Alright" ... this album features exclusive tracks to the soundtrack movie "Ferry Across The Mersey" -- Gerry and the Pacemakers were keeping step by step with the Beatles who had released their movie "A Hard Day's Night" around the same time...."Ferry Cross the Mersey" was written by group leader, singer & guitarist Gerry Marsden. It was released in late 1964 in the UK and in 1965 in the US. It was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic, reaching number six in the USA and number eight in the UK...
