We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Original 1975 first pressing ... The TWO SIDES OF KEITH MOON is much less pretentiuous and self-indulgent than some other Who solo albums. Two Sides Of the Moon is the only solo album from the primary drummer from The Who, Keith Moon. Surprisingly, rather than using the album as a chance to showcase his legendary drumming skill, Moon chose to sing on all the songs. The album features contributions from Ringo Starr, Harry Nilsson, Joe Walsh, Jim Keltner, Bobby Keys, Klaus Voorman, John Sebastian, Flo & Eddie (Mark Volman & Howard Kaylan of The Turtles), Spencer Davis, Dick Dale and Suzi Quatro's sister Patti Quatro.
Keith Moon was inspired to release a solo album after bandmates John Entwistle and Roger Daltrey both released their own albums. With Pete Townshend soon to write a solo album, Moon decided to make one too. Moon, a big fan of Beach Boys-style surf rock decided to make a cover album, with help from his good friend Ringo Starr. The album was widely considered the makings of a madman!
Pete Townshend apparently banished MOON from the studio for all Who vocal sessions, and we find Moon actually sings surprisingly well. He even imitates some of John Lennon's vocal details on covers of "In My Life" and "Move Over Ms. L." Keith seems to be paying tribute to the Beach Boys by covering "Don't Worry Baby" and to his own group with a version of the early Who classic "The Kids Are Alright." Original songs "Crazy Like a Fox," "Solid Gold," and "One Night Stand" sound fine alongside the remakes. Keith Moon was reagrded as one of the best and most innovative drummers of his time and this album does not really reflect that. It is also somewhat of a musician's album in the sense that he has chosen to ill-advisedly collaborate with some superstar friends. The album was also maybe recorded during his personal darkest period and left alone to himself he is not surrounded by the Who to focus his vision. However it is in many ways an endearng album since it shows that despite his madman antics he had a profound love for poprock songs and that while he was maybe no longer able to perform such material with THe Who, he was at least motivated by it.

CONDITION: The cover: Rated: VG+++ (dropped from M- IF just because some very fine scuffs that only show in bright light only, otherwise the dark cover has no shelf wear on the very prone-to-wear black cover.) Very hard to find this clean. Deluxe 2 sided "gimmix" cover is hardly EVER seen without cut corner ... here's a survivor with NO delete marks! A near perfect first pressing with no bends, no writing and no split seams.
The vinyl: Rated: M- top copy overall full of bright shine and overall played very enjoyable here - and should for you as well. Both TRACK/MCA labels are in solid shape, no writing or dirt/soil, and very clean...top copy, M- .. looks and plays fantastic!
