CLEAR LIGHT, ORIGINAL 1967 UK ELECTRA/POLYDOR RECORD LABEL, RARE MONO VINYL LP,  CATALOGUE NUMBER, E K L 4011.

 

  Clear Light was an American psychedelic rock band that was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1966. The group released one studio album that was met with moderate national success before disbanding. In 1966, The Brain Train formed and was managed by Sunset Strip hipster Bud Mathis. They recorded one single – "Black Roses", written by Wolfe Dios – before changing their name to Clear Light and signing to Elektra Records. Guitarist Bob Seal felt the name should be changed to coincide with the single. Clear Light shared its name with a potent form of LSD, although Seal states the name came from his studies of Eastern philosophy. The Doors' producer Paul A. Rothchild took over management of the band.

  Both record labels are in undamaged Excellent condition, superb bright and undamaged record labels with just a few very light signs of play to the centre of each record label.

 

  Side 1 matrix’s, EKL 4011 A 2, and Side 2, EKL 4011 B 1.

  Both sides of the LP are in superb undamaged Excellent Plus condition, clean, bright vinyl surfaces to both sides, with nothing more than just a few light surface hairlines.

 

  The LP plays through both sides without faults.

  And is protected in it’s original fully laminated Picture sleeve which is an Excellent example with just light LP indentation to the front and back panels and light rubbing, shelf wear to the bottom edge.
