Description

       THE CLEFTONES 1954

This is an original 1ST PRESSING of this 1962 album by "The Cleftones" titled "For Sentimental Reasons" on the GEE Record label GLP-707. 1ST Pressings are identified by their very DEEP CIRCULAR GROOVE GRAY LABELS which this record has. Later pressings on GEE have flat gray labels with very faint circular grooves. Almost, non-existent. Also, the records on later pressings are fairly flexible which a 1ST Pressing is not.   This 1ST PRESSING LP has an incredible NEAR-MINT 8 record cover with a gorgeous front, super seams and spine and sharp, clear printing on the spine along with a snowy white back. There is shrink wrap attached. However, there is a wrinkle on the back on the left side (as manufactured...) and a promo hole located at the top right corner. Overall condition would be graded at VG++.   The record which is thick, heavy and has DEEP GROOVE labels is a superb MINT 9 on both sides with shiny, glossy vinyl. Nearly impossible to find this album in anything close to this shape.
