Description

Old eBay prices: £35 + £34 + £29 + £28. Usually I do not use the words MEGA CLASSIC but this record deserves it. Original first pressing of British Powerpop Mod Punk 7” from 1979. In my humble opinion, this is the best ever ROK RECORDS release. This rarity was only released in label sleeve (see scan). ‘No Good For Me’ by the CLERKS is a perfect melody punk powerpop cocktail, topped with extremely ‘loud’ guitar riffs and great vocals. The catchy ‘You’re Not Good For Me Uhhh-Uhhh-Uhhh-Uhhh’ refrains, especially, will knock your head off. As you know, all ROK singles were split releases. Which means the flip ‘Gotta Change My Life’ is by Mod Punk band HAZARD. Don’t miss this melody-maker. The sleeve shows no seam splits but there is some sellotape on front sleeve (see scan). For that reason I'm grading this model:

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
