CLIFF RICHARD AND THE SHADOWS
ME AND MY SHADOWS vinyl LP from 1960 UK Columbia SCX3330 flipback front laminated sleeve
very rare stereo version original EMITEX inner sleeve visually in superb condition - virtually MINT only a couple of very minor items as detailed below the sleeve is beautifully shiny on the front and clean white on rear
as when bought new from shop BUT - side 1 appears to have been mispressed with a sound issue starting after the first couple of bars of track 1 and continues throughout side 1. The left channel seems to suddenly go quieter making the voice and some instruments to go slightly to the right, but the percussion remains on the left side making the overall sound more treble sounding although the bass guitar still sounds, making it stand out. This effect does not occur on side 2 and appears to be due to a mispress / mis-engineering of side 1 for this matrix. (I have heard this side with a different matrix number and that sounded normal).

GRADINGS All gradings are visual and strictly based on the standard established by Record Collector magazine. Sleeve very strong EX (minor small light crease at centre of top edge - see close up photo, very small residual mark near top left corner where small circular sticker removed - see close up photo, a small light lamination crease just to the right of centre front, wear just at the very extreme tip of bottom right corner, minor marks along very thin strip where lamination finishes just short of the edge and just the merest hint of slight record rim wear - fairly unnoticeable. Please note that I am being hyper critical here and the sleeve is in overall beautiful condition - very close to MINT) Record visually very strong EX (side 1 label has a very small stain following small circular sticker removal - the surface is all intact, just a very minor visual issue - see close up photo. There are no marks on the vinyl. Apart from the label stain noted, all looks MINT. Also plays MINT except side 1 sound imbalance due to mispress as described in detail above.)
POSTAGE Please note that I will obtain a proof of posting on every item I send. This will give a limit of compensation of up to £20 in case of the record not being delivered and this will cover the majority of my items sold. On the occasional time when a record or total combined records is sold for more than this additional payment may be given to cover the higher value of compensation. Please note that international compensation is generally similar but Royal Mail's conditions for international compensation must apply.
I use Small Parcels first class service in UK and airmail small parcels service for international. Please note that I send albums in heavy duty purpose bought mailers together with stiffener and I prefer to send first class to give you the best service and reliability. Also note that I will always give an overall discount for more than one purchase when I can combine postage fees. This will not be a standard fee as I will always take into consideration the actual weight of the final packet – album weights vary considerably eg double albums, gatefold sleeves, heavy cardboard sleeves, thicker (60’s) records etc. If you want to know in advance how much P&P would be for more than one item, send me a message stating which albums you are hoping to win and I can then give you a firm quote. I am able to offer substantial savings by combined post and packing charges for more than one album, so an additional one or more albums will not add much more to the P&P cost. Also note that I also offer a reduced second class post for UK which although not significant for just one record, can make significant savings for several combined records (although will take longer to arrive).
PAYMENT CONDITIONS All prices must be paid in pounds sterling. Payment to be made within 7 days. Personal cheques from UK only accepted but item will not be sent until cheque cleared. Paypal accepted.
