This record is in excellent condition. It has just one or two really faint spindle marks visible on each label and no pen marks, stains or scuffs anywhere. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the iconic blue Columbia labels are clean, bright in great shape with no issues to report.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean overall and have little of note visible in normal light with just odd very light wispy line showing when angled. There are a few more incredibly light wispy lines visible under very bright light but not many and for its age it is superb condition. The record has no serious scuffs, nasty marks or blemishes and has a beautiful vivid gloss.
I play tested the record and it played really well for the vast majority and overall sounded superb but for one small section. It lays flat, there is little to no movement in the record arm and as I say the vast majority of the sound produced is crisp and very clear. There is little to no surface noise or interference audible and obviously no skips or sticks. There is however one issue with faint ticks on side 1. These begin at the very, very end of track 3 and are audible between tracks and into the first 10 seconds of track 4. They are no loud clicks caused by deep scratches but are audible as there is no audio for the most part and also the intro to track 4 is mellow. They pass fairly swiftly however and on my count there were no more than 20, with the majority of these between tracks as I say. Other than this the record plays superbly and the audio clarity is great with no distortion caused by excessive use and little to no surface noise. Overall it was a pleasure to plays test with top audio but for the brief passage of light ticks as mentioned.
The laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent+ condition. It has just a minor amount of rubbing to the edges and corners(pics) with the writing along the spine all clearly legible. It has a strong spine, no splits, tears or pen marks and overall it is superb with minimal wear. It has very slight discolouring in places however for which I have graded under near mint. This is not drastic but there are a few light 'age spots' faintly visible and a hint of yellowing inside the gatefold. There is also a small dent or ding to the front right edge, but this is again minor and overall for its age the sleeve is in superb condition. I have tried to describe the sleeve as best I can but please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It contains a plain white inner in excellent condition. This has no tears, splits or pen marks and only very minor creasing and faint ring marks.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
