Description
In 1958 Cliff Richard and the Drifters(pre-shadows) made a private audition disc in London's HMV store in Oxford street which would lead to a contract and fame and fortune on EMI's Columbia Label.
The 2 songs Lawdy miss clawdy and Breathless are great rockers and for years were unheard by most of Cliff's fans.
After much effort in 1998 a small batch of 500 reproductions of that 78 were made to special mail order only, most of which were bought by members of Cliff's fan club.
The disc is unplayed and includes several fascinating inserts of reviews, photos etc+ a glossy picture sleeve.
A real rare item now and for the future. Plays at 78RPM. Don't miss out!Your Cliff collection is incomplete without it as its the first recording way before Move it!
