This song Can't Keep This Feeling In was promoted as sung by a new upcoming unknown upcoming artist called Blacknight in a Step Child Mix. Cliff Richard was complaining about his deliberate exclusion from airplay on UK radio stations. So a ruse was concocted in an attempt to circumvent prejudice that had increasingly led to Cliff Richard's exclusion from the airwaves. Cliff picked the song that was sent to all the majour stations and it resulted in the track being added to playlists on many UK radio stations including Choice FM and Kiss 100. Then the following Sunday after it was clear the song was charting, he revealed the true identity of the singer to the Sunday papers again accusing the radio stations of prejudicial attitude towards his songs.

UK 12 inch vinyl single by Cliff Richard (aka black knight) titled Can't Keep This Feeling In (Phil Chill's R&B mix) /Step Child mix (exclusive to this release only).  Released in 1998 to celebrate Cliff's 40th anniversary in music, it caused a real storm at the time by getting rave reviews across the board as nobody knew it was Cliff due to no artist credit on the labels.  Promo only issue in tiny quantities (some say as few as 100-200 copies), it rarely comes up for sale and is amongst the very rarest of Cliff's UK releases housed in die-cut black sleeve.
