Description

 I use the RARE RECORD COLLECTOR GUIDE grading standards: (NM, EX, VG, G)

CLIFFORD BROWN & MAX ROACH – Basin Street, US early ‘60s mono pressing Vinyl LP, deep groove MERCURY MG-36070, non-laminated thick US cover.

The record grades: (VG+). The very thick vintage LP shows clean gloss, looks played (moderate spindle traces on the labels) and shows some hairlines and minor paper scuffs under bright light. The record has little “haze” (cloudy) due to the pressing. Beautifully recorded and engineered original mono pressing with a strong, deep, rich and vibrant sound and a powerful dynamic cut. The record plays clean with slight pressing background static due to “haze”, some slight occasional background noise in places, minor occasional ticks. The thick US Cover grade (VG) and shows wear, slight ring wear, edge wear, spine wear, WOC, split in the sine (please see the Photos). 

Die sehr dicke LP wurde öfter abgespielt (mehrere sichtbare Spuren auf den Labels). Unter hellem licht sind etwas  haarfeine Kratzer sowie paar Paper Scuffs sichtbar. Die LP ist ein bisschen Matt von der Pressung und spielt aus diesem Grund mit leichter Hintergrund-Statik die aber nur gelegentlich leicht hörbar ist. Die LP spielt sehr dynamisch mit leichten gelegentlichen Hintergrundgeräuschen, paar minimalen Ticks. Das dicke US Cover hat Gebrauchsspuren, Ring Wear, Abnutzungen auf Kanten, Ecken und Spine, kleiner Riss in der Spine, WOC (Schrift auf Cover) (siehe bitte die Fotos).
