Original BLUE NOTE RECORDS 1st MONO pressing, cat. BLP 1526, US.
Original very first pressing with the following features:
- 767 Lexington Ave NYC address both on labels and rear cover - Flat edge disc, white frame front cover (not the blue one but with all the same features) - Deep groove labels, NO 'R' - Plastylite 'P' and 'RVG' etched in the dead wax. - Matrix: RVG P BN-LP-1526-A 9M / RVG BN-LP-1526-B P 9M
Side 1 recorded on August 28, 1953; side 2 on June 9, 1953.
Record grading: VISUAL GRADE - EX / PLAY GRADE: MINT-; vinyl visually shows a light coating that absolutely not affects the incredible playing that is very close to the perfection. NO AUDIBLE DEFECTS, no background noises, tics or pops. Sound is incredibly pristine and clean, simply great.
Sleeve grading: GOOD; several damages to the cardboard sleeve, as visible in the pic. A small circular sticker on the back saying 'USA' .
