Clifford Brown with Strings EmArcy Records MG36005 1955 Mono recording
with Max Roach, Drums; Richie Powell, piano and George Morrow, Bass
Goldmine Standard: Record-NM, Play Graded; Cover-VG (2" seam separation lower opening). Both record and cover have been cleaned.
From my well-cared-for personal jazz record collection.
This recording of ballads such as Willow Weep for Me, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes, Stardust, Yesterdays, Blue Moon and others demonstrates Browns "unmatched feeling for the beauty of a ballad and an ability to transmit his own emotion vividly through his horn".
Tragically, in the year following this recording, Clifford Brown lost his life in an automobile accident.

REFERENCE RECORD BUYERS All records and covers have been cleaned. An outer polypropylene sleeve is provided for each cover; a new Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab inner sleeve is provided as needed for each record. All Jazz LP's are Play-Graded. Every effort has been made to accurately grade them and to describe any issues. Albums will be carefully packed in quality boxes with stiffener and bubble wrap and be shipped within 48 hours, Monday through Friday. It is my wish that the new owners of these records be as pleased with them as I have been. In the event a return is requested, please do so postage paid within ten days for a full refund.
