M : Mint ( I never say mint unless its brand new or sealed. nuff said there).NM: Near Mint, Very clean, maybe some very light mark or a tiny imperfection on the cover but sound is like new.
Excellent: Very glossy, any scratches or marks will be very light and barely affecting play.
VG+: Still glossy, possibly some light crackle, some fine lines, still plays well.
VG: Used record, some crackle, no loud pops or skips; plays ok.
VG- : Some loud crackle, pops, a skip, probably not much gloss left, mostly wanted because its rare or something special.
