Description
Clifford Curzon ( 18 May 1907 - 1 September 1982 ) was an English pianist. Studied at the Royal Academy of Music, won Gold medal in 1924, at the age of 17. Debut 1923, when he played the Bach triple concerto under Henry Wood. Beetween 1928 and 1930 he took further instruction from Artur Schnabel, then with Wanda Landowska and Nadia Boulanger. He toured throughout Europe and the United States.
