Description
Clifford Curzon gives wonderful performances of the Grieg Piano Concerto*, Cesar Franck's Variations Symphoniques plus Litolff's famous Scherzo to finish the programme!
Other details: The London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Oivin Fjeldstad*; The London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Adrian Boult.
Record details: Decca SXL 2173. Stereo. Wide band grooved label, 1st pressing.
Date of issue: 1959.
Condition of disc: A fine glossy disc in excellent condition. It plays perfectly.
Condition of sleeve: This is the crimson - or maroon, if you prefer - sleeve version of this LP (the other is bright red). The front cover is in excellent condition, and very glossy. The back cover is white and bright. There is however a serious crease to the bottom right corner of the sleeve, visible in the photograph. The inner sleeve is in near mint condition. The sleeve notes are uncredited.
