Clifton Chenier (1925-1987), King of Zydeco.
Original autographs of Clifton Chenier along with Clenelle Chenier on the front of an LP jacket entitled: Louisiana Blues and Zydeco, Arhoolie Records.
The record is enclosed in its jacket , mounted in an LP frame with glass. Record is in very good condition; it doesn't appear to have any severe scratches and the paper cover is missing. The jacket has some split seams in the back and some rough edges, with the front having some minor staining. I made this purchase for the autographs only.
Measures: Overall with frame: 12 3/4" square with hanger, ready to be displayed on your wall.
Signed in ball point pen. Even though Clifton played some major concerts most of the band's gigs were in Juke Joints, house parties, pig roasts, fish frys, etc. People there didn't often ask for his autograph and it was seldom given......so his signature becomes a real rarity!
