Description
This is a vintage album entitled "Clyde McPhatter with Billy Ward and his Dominoes". This is King Long Playing Hi Fi number 559, on a Federal Record. I do not normally sell records so I will try to describe everything exactly. The cover still looks pretty good, is a bright yellow, but has some wear to it–light rub marks, and some light grubbing–especially noticeable on the back cover because it is white. The top and part of another side has split. The record itself looks pretty shiny, but I can see some light scratches on it here and there. I do not have a record player, but I do guarantee everything I sell, so if bidder is disappointed at all, I would fully refund their money. It looks like the original price sticker of $2.50 is still attached to the back cover. Also, I have taken a close photo of the album center–it looks like someone scribbled with a pencil on the label–hopefully, photos will show all. According to the first paragraph on the back of the album:
"The teaming of three great names in the musical world, Clyde McPhatter, Billy Ward and The Dominoes make a sure fire all star attraction. The dynamic vocal style of McPhatter was recognized by the general public when he first appeared as lead singer in the original Dominoes vocal group. Billy Ward’s arrangements and coaching helped McPhatter along the road to success. Although Clyde McPhatter is now doing solo work his many hit records when he was singing with the Dominoes are preserved in this album." The songs here are:
