Please read this carefully. CLYDE McPHATTER - LOVER PLEASE 1962 Mercury SR 6071 Stereo. He was an American rock-and-roll singer, and was perhaps the most widely imitated R&B singer of the 1950s and early 1960s and was a key figure in the shaping of doo-wop and R&B. He is best known for his solo hit Lover Please [#7 Top Pop]. This album quickly followed. Lettered cover. Rear panel has Liner Notes about him and his music. It's in Excellent condition, as is the vinyl. Features Title Tune plus Sixty Minute Man, Money Honey, Such A Night, and 8 others. Scarce now.
