On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by CMU called "Open Spaces" and is an ORIGINAL UK 1971 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Transatlantic label!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPS ON THE TRANSATLANTIC LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  IT SOLD VIRTUALLY NOTHING ON RELEASE BACK IN 1971 - AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION OVERALL!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS TRANSATLANTIC LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD LAMINATED COVER!!!!  PLEASE ALSO NOTE - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST POSSIBLE' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH A 'SINGLE THICKNESS' GATEFOLD COVER & A 'FIXED' PLASTIC INNER (LATER ONES DONT!)!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Transatlantic UK 1st Pressing from 1971 and is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is TRA 237 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Transatlantic label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition overall!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scufflines, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  Basically this record is MINT - apart from 2 or 3 INCREDIBLY hard to see hairline type marks (only visible under light!) - that do cause a few clicks/pops right at the VERY end of 1 track and at the beginning of the other (though the rest of the record plays SUPERBLY!).  There is also the customary 'watermark' at the VERY edge of 1 side ONLY (only a VERY small part of this!) - from where the record has sat against the 'foam' on the inner sleeve - but I MUST STRESS that 99% of 1st Pressings have this 'watermark' and it is simply IMPOSSIBLE to find this LP without this!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!!  It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO pops (apart from mentioned above), NO jumps, NO sticks, a few brief sounds from the 'watermark' right at the VERY beginning of the 1st track on that side ONLY (this soon fades away - and 99% of 1st Pressings have this!), and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO groovewear and NO distortion either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better - though 90% of this record is MILES better than this!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve - which is the plastic inner inside the cover (still PERFECTLY attached).  I would VERY strongly advise against EVER using this plastic inner again (as it is VERY fragile - and can damage the record!) - and so I have supplied a plain white inner for the record & a plastic sleeve to keep the cover & record together!!!!  The 1st Press Gatefold Cover is in absolutely BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), only 2 or 3 TINY indentations, VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!!  Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO yellowing, NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, a PERFECTLY attached plastic inner sleeve, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
