Sleeve Condition: VG+ / Media Condition: EX-
UK 1st pressing of this rare progressive rock album. Please note that the sleeve comes with an attached plastic wallet for storing the album which itslef has foam across the opening which in theory cleans the album when it is taken out or stored - in fact what often happens with this type of design is that the foam reacts with the vinyl and marks the surface. This has not happened with this copy as it appears the album has been stored in a standard inner sleeve for much (if not all) of it's life. The record is visually in EX+ condition but has been playtested graded as a result of this as EX-. Generally the record plays very well with no jumps or sticks and no loud pops, the sound quality being very clear and well defined. There is however a certain amount of surface noise from the vinyl which is more noticeable during the quieter passages, but nothing that seriously detracts from the enjoyment of listening to the music. I believe that the album is realistically priced taking this into account.

GRADING: All of our records are graded using the standard UK Record Collector Grading system as follows:
- MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
- EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
- VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
- GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
- FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
- POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
- BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
POSTAGE AND PACKING: Items will be sent in strong protective packing, using purpose designed mailers where possible. We take care to make sure that the vinyl and inner bag are always removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits, and the vinyl itself will be placed in a soft plastic cover to protect it during transit.
