Another in the growing line of crucial live Cock Sparrer recordings, Runnin' Riot: Across the USA was recorded in New York and San Francisco during the band's February 2000 American tour. It is, of course, one more greatest-hits collection, but the audiences are as wild as any Cock Sparrer have played to before -- all the more so, perhaps, because they have to wait so long between visits. Of course the band responds accordingly, so, while the track listing offers up no surprises whatsoever, the sheer energy and enthusiasm that swings from stage to dancefloor and back again more than makes up for any weary sense of déjà vu.
