Hi there. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate you taking the time to check out my auction.
Today, I have a brand new, unplayed vinyl 7" 45 for Coconut Pete's, "Take Another Hit: The Best Of Coconut Pete" on clear gold-rimmed vinyl filled with sand. For those who may be unaware, Coconut Pete was a character that Bill Paxton (Twister, Apollo 13, etc.) played in the movie, Club Dread. This is one of the original vinyl pressings that included something inside. In this case, sand.
This is an absolute awesome piece of collector's vinyl. There were only 100 of these manufactured due to the time and cost of putting them together. How often do you see a record filled with sand? You probably have but they are outrageously expensive. Well, here's an affordable one.
The cover is in NM- condition. The jacket is a matte finish. The original record insert is also included. It has ringwear due to shipping since the record was placed next to the sleeve. While this is a brand new copy, the actual sand-filled vinyl did not come sealed due to the extra size and weight of the two clear records pressed to encapsulate the and. The record has never been played. It does have light wear due to storage and shipping. Please note the pics of each corner. They are very sharp and untouched. It also includes a lyric sheet insert inside the jacket.
Stellar copy that would make a must-have gift for anyone that collects unique vinyl.
