Description
- ORIGINAL UK PRESSING - ... COCTEAU TWINS ...
- "VICTORIALAND" -
This is a private sale - from my own, personal, collection - I am not a record dealer.
Another one of my 'most cherished' albums - and in truly great condition as a result.
It comes as a single sleeve album (low sheen laminate both sides), with its ethereal cover design (23 Envelope)..
It plays superbly well on my unforgiving Bang & Olufsen set up - perhaps a hint of slight ambient/vinyl hissing - as you might expect. (See below for full report)
Time to let it go - to someone, somewhere - who can better appreciate the vinyl experience.

CONDITION - The Album Cover Front Cover: in extremely good condition - with no scars, gouges, cuts, rips, writing, stickers, creases, etc.
Even the leading edge corners are free from bumps and bruises ... effectively as new. Rear Cover: similarly shows lack of any wear ... perhaps a hint of (storage) rubbing along one side. Simply: Fabulous - Near Mint - Condition !
CONDITION - The Cardboard Inner Sleeve See image. As new. Perfect Condition.
CONDITION - The Vinyl Visually, both sides are in excellent visual and audio ("Near Mint") condition.
All surfaces have been kept carefully cleaned and (as humanly possible) dust-free. Under scrutiny of my 'natural light' task lamp, there are no issues - scratches, etc. ... just abrasion swooshes from the cardboard inner.
Having play-tested both sides. With MAXIMUM treble and NO bass, there is a subtle background 'presence' ... with some spitting and crackling in the intro/extro/quietest passages ... but this natural 'ambience' is part of the accepted/standard vinyl experience.
There are no audio 'issues' - and there is nothing to devalue the overall listening experience.
CONDITION - The Record Labels All are in perfect condition (I've shown them all in my images) and reveal no spindle marks. It looks un-played.
OVERALL CONDITION and 'SIGN OFF' ... I have described the content and condition of this item honestly and in good faith ... ... so that you won't be subject to any nasty surprises !
I am not a record dealer, as I have said, but I have been strictly guided by the Discogs 'Goldmine Standard' grading, by my own visual inspection and by my own test-playing.
Simply and finally:
The VINYL - I would describe as NEAR MINT
The ALBUM COVER - I would describe as MINT/NEAR MINT
