Description
ATTENTION international bidders!
Please understand that altering the final price of online purchases to avoid customs fees is illegal. Every order is processed digitally, the shipping label affixed to the package will show the exact cost of the item. I am an honest seller and cannot alter the amount, so please do not ask me to do so. RECORD packaging & shipping!
I provide ample padding in each package to prevent shifting during the shipping process. I also use industry-standard shipping boxes which are specifically designed for shipping records. Records are shipped outside their sleeves (if a sleeve is included) and covers to prevent damage during transit.
Goldmine Standard Grading:
SS / NM- / VG++ / VG+ / VG / G+ / G / P
I grade very conservatively, please see my grading scale below the record description for more details.
Up for your consideration is a excellent copy of 'Coffee' Butler & The Cups album "Let 'Em Talk", a thick wax record on the private TLT label out of south Florida. Rarely seen, this one is even more hard to find in this condition. Great sound all around... Please read more details concerning the record's condition below:
Vinyl: VG++ to NM-
I grade conservatively. The vinyl has a nice shine. Excellent surface with only a couple very light marks and a couple stray very, very light sleeve scuffs which can only be seen in the right light. Playback is continuous with no skips or odd defects in the sound, quiet passages have very little if any background noise. Sound is dynamic and consistent. Definitely an awesome record, I've played it once and recorded it to disk... since then I've played the file (the entire album) three times in the last couple days. There a couple great funky tracks then some excellent r&b numbers, very entertaining. A sound sample from playback is included below. The record has been carefully cleaned on a VPI machine and handled with care during my ownership.
The actual, unedited sound file below is provided by my Yamaha P-520 Direct Drive TT with Digitrac 280E cartridge @ 1.5 grams /// I can't guarantee the record will sound exactly like the file below since all turntables are equipped differently.

mp3 also available here!
Label: VG++
The labels look as pictured and are in great shape, some light wear around the inner groove of the label.
Sleeve: - - -
The inner sleeve is plain with a window. Small chip in the window on one side. Very straight and no splits in the paper. Some tanning from age.
Cover: VG++
The cover has no splits. Very nice condition overall. Light wear at contact points, bottom corner has some wear. Small ding in center of spine, only superficial and doesn't break the print - this is very minor but I wanted to mention it. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being best, I'd rate the cover an 8. Very solid and holds the record well.

Packaging:
All records are packaged with care and shipped outside their sleeves and covers, encased in bubble wrap, padded with cardboard when necessary, boxed in record boxes and taped well. All orders are processed digitally to avoid shipping errors. Each buyer's physical address listed with PayPal and eBay will be automatically added to the label then printed and taped to the box. Delivery confirmation is free inside the US. International orders will have the complete order information including buyer name, record name, weight, final price and customs number clearly printed. Final value prices cannot and will not be altered for customs' sake, that practice is illegal and I will not mark any package as a gift. Please see the shipping details in the listing for the service being used. Buyer can contact me at any time to discuss further shipping arrangements.
Goldmine Grading Details
SS = Still Sealed
any defects will be listed and/or photographed to complete the description
NM- = Near Mint Minus
just short of absolutely perfect
acceptable defects would include a hairline mark not detectable to the touch and not affecting playback, background noise is nearly silent
VG++ = Very Good Plus Plus
most records I will list fall under this grade, just short of NM- but may have a mark or contact wear to the label to grade it slightly lower, maybe a drill hole or cut, maybe a mark or name written on the label lightly, sound is still great, loud and near perfect, cover may have slight edge or corner wear, maybe slight ring wear
VG+ = Very Good Plus
a great record, sound is high quality though may have a few pops or clicks, overall very nice looking vinyl possibly with light marks & scuffs, labels may have a name or mark on them, possible light contact wear to the label, covers may have a small split but not large or gaping, edge wear on cover may show more than slight, may be a mark on cover
VG = Very Good
only records I will list with this grade would be rather rare or of higher book value, meant to sell as a filler until a better record comes along, vinyl may have feelable marks but should play through without skipping, pops or clicks may be louder than usual, may have marks or wear on the label, cover may have open splits, wear on print, may have marks or other very apparent defects (all will be stated in description either by type or in the pictures)
