MINT copy, played just once, of COIL's legendary ASTRAL DISASTER album, released on the Prescription label in a tiny edition of just 99 copies (on this copy instead of a number, the cover bears the designation “AP” – Artist’s Pressing). This copy was given by Coil's Jhonn Balance to Current 93's David Tibet, and is extensively inscribed by Jhonn to David on the label, "For Tibet with astral love, with disasterous greetings and blessings from his very god friend John Balance and Sleazy, 24 IV 99ev, Avalon". The record includes the 1-sided A4 insert as well as the "spin" oil-painting made by Balance with the phase ASTRAL DISASTER stamped on the back. The label on the front is also signed by John Balance and Peter Christopherson and is numbered "AP" ("Artists Proof".) Mint record in Mint sleeve. Starting price: 93p.
This item come from David Tibet's extensive collection of Coil material, some of which he has decided to sell to fund his continuing Coptic researches and travels and other projects.
