Description

I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 5 records (Longer Playing 12" 78s) on the blue Columbia Masterworks label. It is Set MM-603 by Joseph Szigeti, Violin with The Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Eugene Ormandy; performing Brahms: "Concerto In D Major For Violin And Orchestra"-Op.77. The records proceed from First Movement through Third Movement, Conclusion on the first 9 sides. The 10th side is an extra by Szigeti, Violin and Leonid Hambro-Piano with "Adagio"-from Sonata No.3 in D Minor (Brahms). The Set is from new old stock and I actually unwrapped this one myself. Records are excellent to E+ condition-basically brand new. No wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still very shiny and clean! Cover and inside sleeves in great condition as well, with musical descriptions and photo of Szigeti and Ormandy on inside front.
