Description

I have up for auction a wonderful and complete Album Set of 5 records (Longer Playing 12" 78) on the blue Columbia Masterworks label. It is Set MX-243 by Walter Gieseking, Pianist and Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Bruno Walter performing Beethoven: "Concerto No.5, in E Flat Major". The records proceed from First Movement through Third Movement-concluded on the first 9 sides. Side 10 is a Piano Solo by Gieseking, Bach: "Partita No.1 in B Flat Major", Menuets Nos 1 and 2, Gigue. The records are in excellent condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are very few, light and surface variety. Surfaces still fairly shiny and clean. Cover and inside sleeves in very good condition as well and comes with original 2 page typed paper pamphlet with musical descriptions.
