COLDITZ BREAKPOINT- TPSM2001- PURPLE LABEL
Rare VINYL LP and a VERY FIRST UK pressing. Matrix is A-1U and B-2U . Released on Deep Purple label.
Much sought after,especially in this condition.Very first pressing features with "Porky" etched in the deadwax,the birds singing at the end which continues into the deadwax and textured sleeve.
Sleeve- Made by Garrod and Lofthouse.Textured.Some corner and edge wear with odd storage marks.Usual handling wear but overall clean and strong. Overall- still clean,strong and respectable.
Inners-The polylined inner is intact and strong.
Labels- The labels are clean showing spindle marks only.
Vinyl- BOTH SIDES RETAIN A RICH GLOSS AND SHINE.Odd feint hairlines and odd mark seen under light.
Playback- I am very pleased to say there are no skips or jumps.There is crackle at the starts.There are odd ticks with some background hiss.Still an enjoyable listen.
This is a hard to find record.Not to be missed.
