Up for sale my personal copy of "COLEMAN HAWKINS - ENCOUNTERS BEN WEBSTER" album from Classic Records, MG VS-6066.
#0146 from the limited edition Classic Records "Verve Records Box Set". All 10 of the LPs from that set are being offered individually.
180G Audiophile LP 33RPM.
Sleeve = EX, due to some very minor wear near spine and corners, otherwise M-. See pics. Disc = M-
I won't ever grade a sleeve or record "mint" unless it's sealed, even if the album was unplayed and the cover is in perfect condition.
Pet free, smoke free, home.
Back in 2000-2003, I purchased a huge quantity of sealed records all at once. Most were opened and cleaned on a VPI 16.5. The discs were then placed in DiscWasher VRP Record Sleeves with the album stored upright in record cubes in mylar japanese protective sleeves. This has kept the condition of most of the covers (finish/color) to be "like new".
After a divorce, I put my record collection in a temperature controlled storage unit, where they've resided untouched for the last dozen or so years. It's time for someone to get enjoyment out of them.
Most of the records are super clean and flat, and have never been played. If they were played, it was less than a couple of times on an SME 10 or SME 20, with a Van den Hul Colibri cartridge.
