Description
Scarce vintage doo-wop group 45 featuring THE COLOGNES with backing by the Chuck Hamilton Combo, on the LUMMTONE label out of Los Angeles, Calif., from 1959. Titles are “A River Flows” and “A Bird and a Bee.”
This is a stock copy, blue label with silver print. Catalog number is Lummtone 102.
Guaranteed to be authentic and original. I do not sell bootlegs or modern reissues.
Condition is nice on both sides. The ballad side – “A River Flows” – is gorgeous NEAR MINT with full original gloss and appears to have been played one or two times if at all, and sounds awesome. The “B” side – “A Bird and a Bee” – would grade NM except for two minor light scratches that are cosmetic and do not affect the playing. Both sides play beautifully as you can hear in the sound clips below. I think the winning bidder will be very pleased.
