Description
This is a fine original pressing copy of the first US LP by British progressive/blues group Colosseum, released in 1969. The record compiles tracks from the group's first two UK LPs: half the tracks off their similarly titled UK debut, and two tracks from their more progressive follow-up, Valentyne Suite (including the long, multi-part title track). The gatefold jacket has a small cutout hole, mostly light creasing in the corners, and a small stain on the front cover -- EX(+). Visually, the disc is clean with some light scuffing and a few wispy hairline scrapes. Side 1 plays basically M-; side 2 has some surface noise in track 1 and between it and track 2 -- overall EX(+). The record comes with the original Dunhill label inner sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. Many records were purchased new. Most were played just 1-2 times and taped. I have visually graded discs except where otherwise noted, and have tried to err on the side of caution when imperfections are apparent.
