CONDITION:
VINYL = EX- (plays EX) (No deep scratches, groove damage, excessive surface noise, distortion, etc. Clean labels with just light spindle trails. Under a bright grading lamp there a few paper scuffs, a few very faint surface marks and a couple of other more obvious but still very shallow marks on Side 2 - these are all superficial, cosmetic imperfections which don't affect playback in any way. Indeed, playback it good, the music is strong, clear and punchy, certainly not suffering distortion or muffling that you would associate with over playing, which correlates with the clean labels. By and large this record plays better than the grading suggests but I have to include it's visual appearance for the main grading. As this record plays out, there is a bit of occasional faint surface noise audible in some quieter and silent sections before and between tracks, plus the odd faint background crackle occasionally just audible.
Certainly not in museum piece/archive condition, but to my mind these slight, mainly cosmetic imperfections definitely do not ruin the listening experience and as long as you're expecting a a 60s record not some sterile CD reissue, it's still a great example or a very rare original LP. Clearly this LP has only had fairly light use in the past and is more than ready to be enjoyed as originally intended. Plus, should sell for a more realistic price than the huge premium archive copies are now hitting.
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)
SLEEVE = V.G.++ (No big creases, rips, tears, defacing, etc. Carries some normal light wear to the edges and corners, other than that it's main flaw is a bit of light foxing along the upper edge of the front, back and centre covers - see photos for further clarification)
NOTE: I must point out that we are actually a long standing physical record shop, with many decades worth of selling, trading and grading records under our collective belts. Unlike so many of the jokers now selling records on ebay, we know how to grade records. Before bidding, please read my description carefully, decide how much this record is worth to you and place you max bid accordingly. Please also feel free to check out my feedback from the many other successful transactions I have made in the past.
ANY QUESTIONS? PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO GET IN TOUCH!
