COLUMBIA 33CX 1165 B/G UK *JOHANNA MARTZY* / BRAHMS Violin Concerto
You'd be unlikely to find a better condition cover any time soon, it's in lovely
clean condition. It retains its' creaseproof fold over inner sleeve. Visually the
vinyl is around EX, a few very light signs of play but generally very clean.
When played, there's noticable background, especially at the start of each side,
a light but fairly consistant crackle that certainly doesn't overpower, and fades
as the sides progress and through louder passages.There's very little in the way
of pops and no clicks you'd associate with scratches.
So what we have is a very clean looking cover and record, that is still a great
listen, with no loud hiss or distracting pops and clicks, but persistant light
background. Beware of listings that grade visually on records this old, they
rarely live up to the grade suggested.
