Condition
If necessary records are cleaned carefully using a VPI cleaning machine.
Grading is performed in bright light and, when indicated, will be verified on a Technics SL-110 studio turntable (SME-3009/Goldring 1022GX) with Tannoy monitors.
LP: VG+
Under a strong lamp light hairlines, superficial scuffs and very slight discoloration become visible, but no deep scratches. With my Garrard 401 (SPU, Mono) the record plays easily in ex quality with almost inaudible crackling here and there.With my Stereo-PU playback is accompanied by mild crackling which remains in the background most of the time and becomes more noticeable only in a few periods of side 2. In both playback conditions Martzy´s violin is reproduced beautifully clear and strong almost in complete absence of distortion or surface noise.
Labels are clean and strong colored with only very little spindle hole wear.
